day19_2.eps Sequence does wander all over interval [0,1].
day19_1.eps but histogram shows distribution non-uniform.
and if we use the numbers to select "random" points in the unit square
(1st rn for x coord of 1st point,
2nd rn for y coord of 1st point,
3rd rn for x coord of 2nd point, etc.)
the points do not fill out the square: day19_3.eps.
