Experiment to test Poiseille mass flow formula

Assisted by the instructor, Long prepares to remove a portion of his thumb:

While HaoYan holds the beaker under, Chen prepares to take her thumb off the end of the pipe and let the air flow, and Wil is ready to time:

Brent measures "h0", the depth of the water/air interface:

Run in progress:

Measuring the pipe radii from a photo:

The whole team:

Data: HTML, OpenOffice spreadsheet, Excel spreadsheet. Pipe closeups for R-measurement: "medium" tube, the straw ("fat tube") and the "really tiny" one (2nd from right, I think - but remotely possible it was the 3rd from right).

Idea is to test at least the R-dependence of the volume flow rate and possible the actual numerical flow rate predicted on the basis of Poiseuille flow. See instructions in here.
